The characters in Turtle Odyssey are adorable in design, the controls easy to figure out and remember, and it takes about four hours to finish the whole game. Ozzy the turtle walks on the bottom of the ocean (yeah, I know, just roll with it), collecting coins, and defeating enemies by jumping on their heads. The game is a sidescrolling Jump’n’Run platformer, built similar to the style of the games circling around Nintendo’s loveable little mascot, Super Mario (1983 ongoing).

Turtle Odyssey (2007, on Steam since 2015) is a children’s game for kids aged 5 to 10 by the Russian developer and publisher Realore Games. (And if you’re here because your inner child is interested in this or just because you like sea turtles, don’t worry, you’re still awesome.)
